Learners build
A rebuildable 3D structure of straws and connectors, built as tall as the learner or taller.
Learners start by building a flat base from straw segments, then build upward into prisms, testing how base width and cross pieces affect stability.
From there, the challenges grow, from a structure as tall as the learner to team builds that reach the ceiling or are big enough to fit inside. It connects art and design, math, and science and engineering.

Student-facing slides introduce the concepts, guide the activity, and help learners reflect on what changed. Educator materials support setup, pacing, discussion, and extensions so this can work in classrooms, libraries, homeschool groups, clubs, or makerspaces.
