Refund & Return Policy

We want you to be happy with your Sparks. Physical kits may be returned if they are unopened and in original condition. Digital Educator Guides are non-refundable. Please contact us for a Return Authorization before sending anything back — see below.

What's eligible for return

Sparks are sold in packs (class packs, small-group packs, or any combination of these). Returns are evaluated by the whole pack, not by individual pieces.

  • The entire pack is unused and unopened, in its original packaging and in resalable condition. We cannot refund opened packs, used materials, or individual unused pieces taken from an opened pack — every item in the pack must be returned together in its original packaging.
  • The return is requested within 30 days of the purchase date.
  • The buyer pays return shipping.

What is not returnable

  • Opened or partially used packs — any pack that has been opened, any used materials, or individual unused pieces from an opened pack. The full pack must come back unopened and in its original packaging to qualify.
  • Digital Educator Guides and other digital content — non-refundable once access has been granted.
  • Items not in original condition, damaged through use, or missing parts or packaging.
  • Custom orders and bulk orders are final sale and are not eligible for return or refund.

How to request a return (required — do this before shipping anything back)

  1. Email sales@kidsmakethingsbetter.com to request a Return Authorization (RMA). Include your order number, the item(s) you want to return, and the reason. Please contact us prior to initiating any return.
  2. We'll review your request and, if it's eligible, reply with an RMA number and return instructions (including the address to ship to).
  3. Returns sent without an RMA may be refused or delayed.
  4. Pack the unopened item securely, write the RMA number on the outside of the package, and ship it back using a trackable method. The buyer pays return shipping; we recommend keeping your tracking number.

Refunds

  • Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll email you to confirm whether it's approved.
  • Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post it.
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • No restocking fee applies to returns made with a valid Return Authorization (RMA).

Damaged, defective, or wrong items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, email sales@kidsmakethingsbetter.com within 15 days of receipt with your order number and photos. We'll arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you, including covering return shipping if a return is needed.
