What are Drawbots?
Drawbots are unique, rebuildable, whimsical machines that move, scribble and draw. Learners build, test, deconstruct, and rebuild to see how small changes can create significant differences in how their bot performs.
This playful engineering set has ten individually packaged, ready-to-build 1:1 kits for a small group of learners to make - and keep! It's perfect for after-school clubs, Scouting programs, gifted and talented classes, STEM activity stations, or make-and-take projects for special events.
It's a perfect 30 to 45-minute screen-free activity for grades 3 and up, with playful engineering extensions available in our educator guides.

What's made and learned?
Learners use repositionable and reusable colorful foam parts that connect markers, a battery, and a motor to generate vibration - and move! This hands-on project is a perfect introduction to the engineering design process. Each will test, redesign, and improve their creations, and collaborate with peers to solve challenges or combine their components through creative problem-solving.
